Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen.
My dear respected brothers, sisters, elders, as we approach the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah and Eid al-Adha,
it will be good to remember the one whose story Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala immortalized in the Quran al-Kareem
and gave it to us as an example to follow in goodness.
Ibrahim Khalilullah alayhi salatu wasalam.
Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala raised him and said,
Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala said,
Indeed, Ibrahim alayhi salam was a model of excellence.
He was an ummah by himself.
He was a nation by himself, devoted to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala, perfectly upright and not a polytheist.
And in another place, Surah Al-Ruhud, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala said,
Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala described his character and his manners which Allah praised and said,
Indeed, truly Ibrahim was forbearing.
He was patient.
He had sabr.
He was tender-hearted.
And he always turned to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.
Somebody who constantly sought the forgiveness of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.
I want to begin with this.
As it is the standard that Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala praised,
and so it is something for us to try to develop in ourselves.
To stand firmly.
To stand firmly for Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and live by His commands,
even if you stand alone.
Especially if you stand alone.
Say to yourself,
If not me, then who?
If not now, then when?
Secondly, become patient and forbearing and kind and compassionate,
and constantly repent to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.
And then, you will be able to see the true God.
Last one.
Since we brushed up,
Qasemah,
The second.
If for the first time you think you are rolling on a mountain,
O’ the Lord!
Isn’t it up there.
It is obvious.
Things are changing now,
everything changes.
Even the control of your mind right now has another meaning.
should make me benefit from this ayah in this world and the next.
I ask the same for all of you, inshallah.
In this ayah, in Surah Al-Anfal, Allah said,
But Allah would never punish them while you, O Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam,
were with them, where you were in their midst.
And nor would He ever punish them if they prayed for forgiveness.
To have Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam with us in today’s world,
means to follow His sunnah.
It means to follow His sunnah.
With the Sahaba, He was there with them physically, with us.
He is with us to the extent that we follow His blessed way, His sunnah.
And then Allah said,
And Allah will never punish them as long as they keep seeking forgiveness.
So the way to avoid the punishment of Allah
is to keep asking Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala for forgiveness.
And Abdullah ibn Abbas said,
The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
Ibn Abbas radiallahu anhu reported,
Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
Whoever increases his prayers for forgiveness,
whoever repents,
Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala,
Allah will grant him relief from every worry.
Allah will find a way out of every hardship.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will provide for him
in ways and from places that he does not expect.
So let us make istighfar a part of our lives.
And the first thing that we do when we need the help of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala,
let us remember that we are not alone.
Let us not alone.
Let us be steadfast in searching His nivel.
Let us encourage Him and He will find the particular obedience for us in the near future.
Let’s
insert Ivna in a prayer of God as you do in
prayer.
Let us purify.
Ibrahim is his connection with Allah . His Taalluq with Allah.
And that is the purpose of our lives. The essence of the purpose of our lives is to build that
Taalluq, that connection which comes through only one thing, total and complete submission to the
will of Allah. Allah told us what Ibrahim did when he was told to submit.
When his Rabb ordered him submit to my will, he responded I submit to the Rabb of all the worlds.
Now what made Ibrahim the way he was and gave him these stations of honor.
Allah called him his Khalil. The closest level of connection of friendship in a way that suits
the majesty and grace of Allah.
No human being can be a friend of Allah. Allah is Allah.
Makhluq is Makhluq. So when we translate Khalil into friend, it is not friend.
It is what it is given the majesty and glory of Allah .
And that means a person who Allah especially loves.
All prophets had people who believed in them around them.
But with the help of Allah, they were not friends.
O
Haqbaa, he clubbed this
well and gave brol tickets to the city
and found out which
is vah %ah Vah غdoan is proper security,
different from the place for quantification with which
the auch unfolds gallery or but concerning lainness.
And the question he asked was, how can the dead be resurrected?
This is the, this is the, within quotes, problem from day one, and may Allah protect us to this day.
We say we believe, but if we look at our lives and say, is this belief reflected in my actions?
Then each one of us must answer that.
How can the dead be resurrected?
And the question was asked in a tour of denial, as if to say the dead cannot be resurrected.
Allah SWT said,
Allah said, or are you aware?
Are you aware?
Are you not aware of the one who passed by a city which was in ruins?
And he said, how can Allah bring this back to life after its destruction?
The tone is, can’t be done.
How is it possible?
So Allah SWT caused him to die and remain dead for a hundred years.
And then he brought him back to life.
And Allah asked him, how long?
How long have you remained in this state?
The man said, maybe a few hours, a day, part of a day.
Allah said, no, you have remained here for 100 years.
He said, look at your food and drink.
They are not spoiled, they are fresh.
But now look at the remains of your donkey.
And so we have made you into a sign for humanity.
And look at the bones of the donkey.
Look at the white skin on the donkey’s head.
The flesh on the donkey’s tail is as white as a bit of blood.
We rise to life.
But not to death, we rise to life.
But we do not resist.
The narrow bones of a donkey or ark’s stub needs a person to hold on to its horse.
And we lift it up empty of it.
So the donkey can go around freely.
And how the donkey мет his horse?
Right now, he can
He has his winged Columbian kämpen.
And his 방than.
And were you sick?
ánt, thus the donkey was dead.
If I die now, apart from the fact that it will be a good way to die on the Wimber, alhamdulillah.
But if I die now, and I am resurrected, if Allah brings me back to life after 100 years,
what will I find in the world?
I will find that everybody I knew or had any connection with, they are all gone.
My children, my grandchildren who I wouldn’t even have seen, my spouse, my wife, friends,
relatives, every single person.
There’s not a single person who is sitting here in this masjid today who will be here
after 100 years.
Not even, nobody.
So everything I know would be finished.
My property would be gone, lands gone, money gone, bank account gone, identity gone.
Okay?
Okay.
Completely and totally.
What kind of life am I looking forward to now?
And then, put yourself in that man’s place.
He looks there, he says, I’ve been dead for 100 years, but my food and drink are perfect.
They’re fresh.
In these 100 years, no other animal came and ate that, or the drink didn’t evaporate, nothing.
And then, see the freaked out imagery.
The bones of the donkey.
This man was dead for 100 years, his body did not decompose.
Think about that.
But that donkey decomposed.
So what is the man seeing there?
Maybe he just sees a few bones and maybe, I don’t know, a bit of skin or what.
And then he sees the bones moving and coming together and flesh coming on that and skin
coming on that.
And then the donkey stands up and says, Salaam alaikum.
What do you think?
Imagine that experience.
And Allah says, you asked the question, how can Allah bring it back to life?
Now you know.
But know at what cost.
And that’s the point of reflection and introspection.
He got an answer to his question.
But at what cost?
And he said, I don’t know.
I don’t know.
I don’t know.
I don’t know.
I don’t know.
I don’t know.
I don’t know.
