In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
And peace and blessings be upon the honour of the Prophets and Messengers.
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
with a lot of peace and blessings.
And then, dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Allah Almighty said in another verse,
My brothers and sisters,
Allah revealed in the Qur’an many ayats
in praise of His Nabi Muhammad
defining his status,
defining his honourable status,
and his honourable position before Allah.
But in this ayat of Surah Al-Ahzab,
which all of us know,
Allah mentioned specifically and He said,
Verily, Allah and His Malaik and His Angels
send their blessings on the Messenger
and then He commanded,
Ya ayyuha allatheena aafi,
Ya ayyuha allatheena aamanu,
Whenever you hear or read this phrase in the Qur’an,
Ya ayyuha allatheena aamanu,
O you who believe,
this precedes a command of Allah.
Whatever comes after Ya ayyuha allatheena aamanu
is an Amr of Allah.
It’s a command of Allah.
It’s a Hukm of Allah.
And Allah is saying,
Ya ayyuha allatheena aamanu,
Sallu alaihi,
Ya ayyuha allatheena aamanu,
You also send blessings on him.
Wasallimu taslima.
And when you greet him,
you say, Assalamu alaikum.
The beauty of the Sahaba
and one of the many ways in which the Sahaba
differed from us
is that the Sahaba did not invent,
the Sahaba did not imagine,
the Sahaba did not use,
their intelligence to discover or to figure out
what to do in a situation
where Allah commanded something.
When Allah commanded something,
the Sahaba went to the Rabbi alayhi salam and said,
this is the command of Allah,
what shall we do?
They did not invent something on their own.
Allah said,
they did not say,
okay, fine, khalas.
I will decide what is Salah.
No, they went to the Prophet,
what must I do?
Allah is saying,
I’m ready.
And so on and so on.
So in this case,
Allah says,
Send Salam on the Rabbi alayhi salatu wasalam.
So the Sahaba did not just stand up
and start reciting Ghanasheed and Ghazal
and Hamd and Sana.
They did not start reciting Naat.
They did not put their hand on their chest
on the right or the left.
And they did not say,
they didn’t start in this or that.
They didn’t start in that direction.
And they did not say,
As-salatu as-salamu alayka ya Rasulullah.
They didn’t say any of this.
They did not say anything.
They went to the Rabbi alayhi salam and said,
Ya Rasulullah,
this is what Allah is commanding.
What shall we do?
Please teach us.
Al-inna.
And Rasulullah taught them what we know
as the Dhurud Ibrahim,
which we recite in the Tasha ul-Masjid.
After Ad-Diyat.
Abu Muhammad Ka’b min Ujra
reported,
Rasulullah came to us and we asked him,
Ya Rasulullah,
we already know how to greet you.
Meaning,
As-salamu alaykum.
But how should we send Salat wa Salam on you?
How do we send Dua on you?
How do we send blessings?
And he said,
Say,
Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala aali Muhammadin
Kama salli ta’ala Ibraham.
Wa ala aali Ibrahima.
Innaka habidun Majeed.
Allahumma barika ala Muhammadin wa ala aali Muhammadin.
Kama barikta’a ala Ibrahima.
Wa ala aali Ibrahima.
Innaka habidun Majeed.
He said,
O Allah,
exhort the mansion of Muhammad
and the family of Muhammad
as you exhorted Ibrahim
and the family of Ibrahim .
You are the praised and the glorious.
O Allah, bless Muhammad .
And the family of Muhammad
and the family of Ibrahim ,
and you are the praised and glorious.
And this is a Hadith
in Bukhari and Muslim.
Uba ibn Kaab ,
Radi gia Allah .
He said,
I said I asked.”
ya Rasulullah
Now the question is
how many Salat
do you send to your Prophet .
So this is a beautiful Hadith
about Uba ibn Kaab
He said,
ya Rasulullah ,
I look at your meal,
Send a great deal of blessings on you meaning. I decide to rule many times a day
I said salat and salam on many times a day
How much of this of my dua meaning?
I also make dua to Allah for different things that need and so on how much of this total dua should
Comprise of sending salat and salam on you
He said whatever you wish
So I said one quarter
So total dua that I make in the day one quarter of that should it be sending salat and salam on you
He said whatever you wish but if you do better that if you do more that will be better for you
And see the words he’s not saying it’s better for me
Because whatever you do or not do how can it be better with Allah already did it?
The Malayka already did it no matter what you do is not going to exceed that
So he says
Should I give a quarter spend a quarter of the time sending salat and salam on you and which was all of said
Whatever you wish
But if you do more that will be better for you, then he said one half
He said whatever you do, whatever you like and if you do more that will be better for you
He said two thirds and he said Salah Salem. Whatever you wish and
If you do more
That will be better for you. So cabin
Waving cup for the alarm. I says I said I will make all of my dua for you meaning
I will only do the rules. I will only recite salat and salam on you and
Rasulullah said then
Your concerns will be taken care of and your sins will be forgiven
He said if you do that
Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala will grant everything Allah knows anyway
What do I need to inform Allah about and this is a say hadith in Tirmidhi
So he said if you do that all your concerns cares will be taken care of and your sins will be forgiven
The Dhruv on abhishek salam is the only the car
For which Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala promised to send salat and salam on the one making it no other zikr
says one Allah Allah
Allah Allah
There is a reward for this and Allah no doubt about that
but the only thing for which
we have the
Hadith Abdullah ibn al-Aas
Radha laan huma he reported he said I heard Rasulullah saying whoever makes dua to Allah to exalt my mention
Meaning the Dhruv meaning salat and salam
Allah will exalt his mention
Allah will send salam on that person
and he will say Allah is the one who will exalt his mention
And he will do the Zikr 10 times for every one time he does for me and he will remove from him 10 sins and
He will raise him 10 degrees Dharajat will be raised 10 degrees and this is him. Say Muslim, right?
only the cover for law
In which not only does Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala respond by last year I will respond
ten times to everyone time
that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
the people who will be nearest to me
on the day of resurrection,
on the day of judgment,
will be those who made dua
to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala
most often for me,
which refers to the
durood and Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
And this is in the Dirmidhi.
Imam Nawawi Rahmatullahi Ali
in the commentary on this,
he said, nearest to me
means those who will be most entitled
to my intercession.
We ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala
to grant us
the intercession of the Rasul
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on the day
when no one will be able to intercede
except the one who Allah permits.
Abu Hurairah, Radhi Allahu Anhu,
he mentions
in the Hadith
concerning Ramadan,
which is in Ibn-i Ibn-i Ibn-i Ibn,
the Hadith,
he said,
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
ascended the mimbar and he said Ameen three times. The Sahaba when he finished
his Qutba he came down and the Sahaba may Allah bless them for the questions they
used to ask because that is how we have our Deen. The Sahaba said Ya Rasulullah
you ascended the mimbar and you said Ameen, Ameen, Ameen three times. Why? He
said Jibreel came to me and he said if Ramadan comes and a person is
not forgiven he will enter Jahannam and Allah will cast him far away say Ameen
so I said Ameen. What does it mean? It means Allah forgives everybody in Ramadan.
So you say Ramadan comes and the person is not forgiven meaning what? Meaning that
person did not do anything in Ramadan for forgiveness. He did not fast, he did
not give charity, maybe he did not pray, maybe he did all kinds of evil. So people
who have misused the month, Allah swt will ask Allah to
give them forgiveness.
Grant us Ramadan in good health and Iman and with the ability to use it to the best of our ability
and we ask Allah to forgive all our sins, Alhamdulillah, InshaAllah.
But if somebody is not in that situation, may Allah have mercy on those people.
I have heard somebody say, I am sorry, I cannot fast because I have to go to the gym.
Go to the gym, no problem.
Burst the same, right?
Whether the muscle is 3 inches or 30 inches, burns the same.
Go to the gym.
And there are people who are professional athletes who not just go to the gym,
they are playing on the soccer field, fasting.
It’s a question of Iman, it’s not a question of your physical strength,
it’s a question of your Iman, your Yaqeen and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.
So these people have become the hujja against those who say,
I have got to go to the gym because I get weak.
You get weak, what about that guy?
He thought it was just Saya, but he Hatham Schutz who said,
if they become weak like this,
Why Iman, Hatham, Hatham says,
Then he was like,
That is why Look hafiz,
He said,
Now capricious,
Corruption of family members.
They will grow gay,
And they will go to shut up the school,
That was the thing,
Corruption and separate path.
That was complete.
if one or both are alive and you do not honor them,
remember, he’s not saying parents who are Muslim.
Even if they’re not Muslim,
to honor the parents is from the Ahkam-e-Sharia.
It is from the law of this religion,
no matter what the parents is.
No matter if your parent,
if you think your parent is a good person or a bad person,
that’s not your job.
Don’t sit in judgment on your father or mother.
That’s not your job.
Let Allah do that.
You make dua for them.
Your job, do dua for them.
Serve them.
Be good to them.
The third thing he said,
Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
and he said, Jibreel Sallam said,
if you, O Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
are mentioned in a person’s presence
and he does not send blessings on you
and dies,
he will enter Jahannam
and Allah will cast him far away.
Say Ameen.
And he said Ameen.
Now, does not send blessings
means somebody who refuses to do that.
If you forget and so on,
it’s inshallah not a problem.
And sending blessings, of course,
the entire Durud Ibrahimi is necessary.
But Alhamdulillah,
if you just say Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is enough,
say it in your heart,
say it, you know, silently,
no problem.
You don’t have to say it loudly.
You don’t have to recite the Durud every time.
Obviously, if you recite the Durud,
you’re getting the blessings of that.
So I’m not saying don’t do it.
I’m saying that
someone who does not have that love of the Rasul,
Ameen.
And who say,
it doesn’t matter.
I will not say Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Somebody who takes the name of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
especially in public,
on the member, in places,
and say Muhammad said this,
Muhammad said that,
Astaghfirullahilazim.
May Allah have mercy.
If you don’t have the time to say
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
then don’t say.
Get off the member.
If you’re in such a hurry,
you cannot send Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Why are you there?
Who asked you to talk?
My brothers and sisters,
think about this.
We take pride in our association
with people and institutions
who we believe add value
and honor to us.
We show off our association
with them by wearing their colors,
their tags, their logos,
their names, their styles.
And we do that believing
that the name and fame that is theirs
will rub off on us.
So if I carry a Louis Vuitton,
it’s not luggage.
If I’m wearing a Rolex,
it’s not to tell the time,
it’s to tell the world.
If I’m driving a Ferrari or a Bugatti,
it is to tell the world
that something is wrong
with my financial understanding.
Right?
And Armani is Armani.
Let’s look in the mirror.
Let us look in the mirror
and see which signs
of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
are visible.
In our appearance,
in our manners,
in our dealings,
in our attitudes,
our society,
our decisions.
The sunnah of the Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
definitely is the lahiya.
It is a beard,
but it’s short restricted to the beard.
Somebody who has a beard
of the Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
has a sunnah and he tells lies.
The beard will also banbili.
Believe me.
It’s not a question of beard.
We’re not here to promote
some hairdressing salute or something.
It’s a question of true love.
And the sign of love is ittiba.
It is emulation.
It is imitation.
Not in one thing.
In everything.
And as I said,
we advertise,
we express
our selflessness,
our association
with this or that
because
by wearing something which connects us to
that association or that person
as a sign of our love
because we think it adds value to us.
So ask.
Let’s ask ourselves.
What value does Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
add to me?
What value does he add to me?
May Allah have mercy.
We have people in this country
who even if they are not in the society,
even the name they shorten it,
his name is Moh.
No, it’s not Mohammed.
It’s Moh.
Where is Moh?
Tell people.
If somebody calls you that,
say excuse me,
that’s not my name.
My name is Mohammed.
And if you can pronounce Arnold Schwarzenegger,
you can pronounce Mohammed.
You can’t pronounce it.
Tell them.
Ask ourselves.
What am I losing as a result
of discarding
the Sunnah and the signs
of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam?
Believe me,
anyone who deliberately leaves
the Sunnah of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
is losing.
Without a doubt,
they are losing.
And on the day of accounting,
they will realize what they are losing.
I remind myself and you,
let us not wait for that day
when we will wake up
and realize that
because then you cannot make it up.
Part of honoring Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
as we can see from the
durood is
to honor his family,
to honor the Ahlul Bayt
of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
So who are the Ahlul Bayt
of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam?
In the Ahlul Sunnah wal Jama’ah,
which we belong to,
and from the Ahadith in Bukhari and Muslim
and many other places,
the Ahlul Bayt,
the family of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
are all his wives,
all his children,
the Banu Ashim,
the Banu Abdul Muttalib,
and their freed slaves.
This is the view of all the scholars of Islam
from the earliest days,
starting with the Sahabat.
Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala
specifically addressed
the wives of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
He said,
Ya Nisaa An-Nabi
He did not address his daughters,
He did not address his sons,
He did not address anybody.
Wives of Ya Nisaa An-Nabi
and all women of the Rasool.
Who are the women?
His wives.
Specific address.
And he mentioned them and he said,
You are special and you are unlike
the rest of the Ummah.
So Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala
addressed the wives of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
all of them.
Not one of them, not two of them,
three of them, all of them.
And he said,
You are special people.
And he honored them and he said,
You are unlike the rest of the Ummah.
He did not address any one of them
and he did not omit any one of them.
He addressed them all
and he honored them all
and that is our aqidah
of being Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’at.
We honor all those who Allah honored
and we honor all those who Rasool Allah
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam loved and honored
without discriminating between them.
It is not our position to sit
on top of the family of the Rasool
and himself and say,
This was your daughter,
this is not your daughter.
He is saying they are my daughters.
No, no, no, excuse me,
I don’t agree with you, right?
Appoint me only this one?
The others are not your daughters.
This wife, I don’t like,
so she is not your wife.
Not our job.
Not our job.
We do not do this.
We honor whoever Allah honored.
We honor whoever Rasool
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam honored.
And we consider ourselves
to be less than the dust on the feet
or the hooves of the donkey of Rasool
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
And we have no business
to open our mouth and say,
anything at all about the Rasool
or his family, period.
This is our position.
Allah Subh’anaHu Wa Ta-A’la said,
Ya Nisaa An-Nabi,
Lastunna Ka Ahadin Mina An-Nisaa
In Ittaqaytunna Fala Takhuda’na Bilqawli
Fayatma’a Alladhi Fi Qalbihi Marad
Wa Qulna Qawla Ma’roofa
Allah said,
O wives of the Prophet,
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
specifically,
O wives of the Prophet,
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
all of them,
you are not like any other people.
You’re not like any other women.
If you have taqwa of Allah
Subh’anaHu Wa Ta-A’la,
then do not be soft in speech
when you talk to people, strangers,
because the one in whose heart
is the disease of hypocrisy
should be moved with desire
but speak in an honorable,
strong, stern manner.
Say,
Wa Qarna Fi Buyutikunna
Wa La Tabarrajna Tabarruja Al-Jahiliyatil Ula
Wa Aqimna As-Salata Wa Aatina Az-Zakata
Wa Ati’na Allaha Wa Rasulah
Inna Ma Yuridhu Allah
Li Yudhib Ankumur Ridsa A’la Al-Bayt
Wa Yutahhirakum Tatheerah
And stay in your houses
and do not display yourselves
like at the time of ignorance
and establish Salah and give Zakat
and obey Allah and His Messenger.
Allah wishes only to remove
all forms of evil influences and deeds
from you, O members of the family
of Rasul and to purify you
with a thorough purification.
The ayah is addressed to
Ya Nisa’an Nabi
And Allah is saying,
He’s calling them what?
Ya Ahalal Bayt
So the wives of the Prophet
are the part of the Ahalal Bayt
of the Prophet
by the Hukum and word of Allah.
Ibn al-Jareer narrated that
Safiyya bint Shaybah said
and see who is giving this reference
Aisha Siddiqah
This is the reason she is called as Siddiqah
because she spoke the truth.
She didn’t hide the truth.
She said Rasul went out one morning
and he was wearing a mishla
this outside cloak of black camel hair
and Hasan bin Ali Radiyallahu Anhu
a little boy, he came running to him
so he hugged him
and he put him under the cloak like that
and then Hussain Radiyallahu Anhu
he was even smaller
he came running
he also gathered him
and then Faqih bin Ali
Radiyallahu Anhu
the two boys went
so the mother went behind
Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam hugged her
and also took her in this cloak
and then Ali bin Abi Talib
Radiyallahu Anhu came
and he wrapped him also in this cloak
and then he said
Allah wishes only to remove
the rich from you
O members of the family of Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
and to purify you with a thorough purification
Allahu
You use him as a means
to purify the people of the House
and to purify you with a thorough purification
Now
what must be remembered
when reading this hadith
is to establish
and people sometimes quote this hadith
to establish a special status
for some of the family over others
is that at the time of this incident
Fatima Radiyallahu Anhu
was the only daughter who was with him
his other daughters and sons
had already died
passed away
what Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam did
was an act of love for those of his family
who came there
who were there
it was not an act of selecting some
and leaving out the others
it is not they say
the Ayesha also came
and he said no no no hold on
you are not part of this
he didn’t do that
it’s not that some other of his wives
who were alive
they didn’t come
he said no not for you
go away
it’s only for this
he didn’t say that
so if somebody uses this Aya
and says this
then my advice to everybody
go away
no need to get into any argument
when they meet Allah
and you meet Allah
they will know what the truth is
you will know what the truth is
you don’t have to convince anybody
you do not need to convince anyone
don’t get into argument
I remind you in my book
I remind you in myself
that in the Quran
the only people
the only people
from the family of Rasul
directly addressed
are the wives of Rasul
the mothers of the believers
nobody else
we honour all the Ahlul Bayt
in the order
that Allah
honoured them
we do not honour some of them
over others
and we definitely do not
revile or demean or insult any of them
we don’t honour some more than others
the wives of Rasul are our mothers
and Allah gave them that status
He gave that status to all His wives
Allah honoured the wives of Rasul
and called them
Ummahatul Mumineen
and the Prophet is more important
than the Mumineen among themselves
and his wives are his Ummahat
Allah said the Prophet
is closer
to the believers
than their own selves
and his wives
are the mothers
of the believers
Aisha Siddiqua
Radha Al-Ana
has a very special status
even among this
nobility
of Islam
and her status comes directly
from the Ayat
that Allah
revealed in her favour
and her honour
which are there in Surah An-Nur
therefore anyone who abuses Aisha
Radha Al-Ana
has gone against the Ayat of the Quran
he has denied the word of Allah
he has denied
Allah pronounced her to be free
from all blame
and truthful in her claim of chastity
and prescribed severe punishment
of 80 lashes
and permanently being branded as a liar
for anyone who comes near her
and has cast aspersions
on Aisha Siddiqua
Radha Al-Ana
consequently anyone who abuses
Aisha Siddiqua Radha Al-Ana
has contradicted the Quran
and so has exited Islam
May Allah be pleased
with all the Sahaba
I remind myself and you
my brothers and sisters
that we owe our Islam
to this blessed generation
the Kharmul-Ula
of which the family of
Rasool Allah
especially his wives
have the highest status
our Ulama say that
25% of this Deen came to us
from one human being
one person
and that person is
Aisha Siddiqua Radha Al-Ana
Aisha Siddiqua Radha Al-Ana
the Sahaba used to go to her
and seek her Fatwa
and she would give Fatwa
to the Sahaba
and all of this Fatwa
Alhamdulillah
was preserved in our books of
of Fiqh
The Quran was revealed
in the homes of his wives
they were private to the most
private moments
of Rasool Allah’s wife
and we know about his
domestic affairs
thanks to their recording
and reporting
and Allah swt willed it
they advised Rasool Allah
two of them bore him children
finally it was with his head
in the lap of Aisha Siddiqua
Radha Al-Ana
that Rasool Allah swt
breathed his last
if Allah willed
Rasool Allah swt could have died
on the last Friday of Ramadan
or on Lailatul Qadr
whichever Allah swt
night Allah made for that
in Sujood
on his Musallah
Allah did not will that
he died in the
with his head
blessed head in the lap of his wife
on a Monday
and that wife was
Aisha Siddiqua
Radha Al-Ana
she was the witness
to his last moments on earth
and she reported to us
what his last words were
when he went to meet his Rabb
without the report of
Aisha Siddiqua Radha Al-Ana
you and I would not have known
what Nabi said
his last words
he loved her more than
he loved anyone else
and she loved him more
than anyone else
and she loved him more
than she loved anybody else
the wives of Rasool Allah swt
are very special
and we are honoured
that Allah swt
called them
our mothers
we love Rasool Allah swt
and we love his family
all of them
we honour them
all of them
and we ask Allah swt
to forgive them
all of them
and grant us their company
in Jannatul Firdous
without his support
he Honoured them
we don’t have the means
of leaving the Hereafter
O Allah
oun argument
invoking takilt
entuard
love
It not
as in the age of Husab
We seek refuge with Allah
from the tunic
from the righteousness
and from the capital
from the
dust
authority
The perspective
of Allah
going to reward
