Am I spending time with my children in their tarbiyah?

Allah has given me some position, Allah has given me some authority.
How am I using it?
How will I use it?
For benefit?
To harm somebody?
What do I do?
I have got free time.
What do I do with that time?
Am I spending that free time in backbiting and gossiping and slandering and talking
about all kinds of useless stuff?
Or am I using that free time in earning benefit for myself?
Which one?
Think about all these things, because these are very important things.
Yesterday I talked about using time and especially for, you know, the young people, I think this applies to everybody, but especially.
So I said as far as I am concerned, think about this.
I said how do I spend my free time?
And I said your apps on your phones.
And I talked about the gambling apps, the sports gambling apps on the phones.
Believe me, Allah is my witness.
I am sitting in the mosque.
One little six or seven year old comes to me after the khatira is over.
He comes to me and he says, Sheikh, is soccer haram?
I said no.
No, but you said it is haram.
I said no, I didn’t say soccer is haram.
I said betting on soccer is haram.
Gambling on soccer is haram.
He says, Sheikh, what is gambling?
So I said, you don’t want to know.
